The design method of ASP applications is characterized by methodology used in application design.

Three Piers Design

The ASP web-oriented database application is mainly divided into three piers.

Front Ends: General User Interfaces of Web Pages for Input and Output
Application Logic: Application processes and controls for data processing to generating dynamic content
Application Database: Application Programming Interface for accessomg Database files

Top-Down Design

The ASP web-oriented database application is developed from formulating the overview of the system before developing the detailed subsystems and functional modules.

Bottom-Up Design

The ASP web-oriented database application is developed from pieces of functional modules and subsystems to form a more complex hierarchical system.

Modular Design
